All hosts are required to attend one training session. Training options include in person and online.

Tell me more about Groups

Group hosts aren’t responsible for teaching. Your role is simply to create a welcoming space where people can connect, share, and experience community together!

Types of Groups

  • Lifestyle or Interest-Based Groups
- Hiking, prayer, sports, picnic at the beach, music, etc.
  • Curriculum-Based Group Options
- Use weekly Sunday sermon discussion prompts provided by Pastor Aaron
- Or select a study or book from one of our approved authors, including: A.W. Tozer, Tim Keller, Dr. Tony Evans, John Maxwell, Rick Warren, Max Lucado, Henry & Richard Blackaby, Rich Villodas, John Bevere, Priscilla Shirer, Joyce Meyer, Lisa Bevere, Beth Moore, and Lisa Terkeurst

Meeting Locations

  • Groups may meet in person or virtually. 
  • In-person groups can gather in homes or public spaces such as coffee shops or parks.

Support for Hosts

  • Each group is supported by a HUB Leader who is available to pray with you, provide guidance, and help navigate any challenges throughout the semester. 
  • If you’ve been considering hosting, this is a great season to step in and help create a meaningful community at Believe LA.
