What is the check-out process?
For everyone’s safety, children are only released to adults with the matching alphanumeric security tag. We will never release a child to anyone under the age of 16. Before leaving, we encourage you to check in briefly with your child’s teacher to hear how their day went!
Can my child bring food, drinks, or personal items?
Due to allergy risks, we do not allow outside food in classrooms. Believe LA is a peanut-free facility. Approved snacks will be served at class time, and when that happens, an allergy alert sign will be posted. Water is allowed in labeled sippy cups. We prefer that any items from home stay with mom and dad to prevent any loss or damage. No technology allowed.
What if my child has allergies or medical needs?
Please inform your child’s teacher or a greeter at check-in if they have any allergies or medical needs. While we do not administer medication, we will take every precaution to keep your child safe.
What if my child has special needs?
We recognize every child is unique and may require different types of support. If your child has behavioral, developmental, or sensory needs, please let us know during check-in. While we are not a specialized program, we are committed to caring well for every child who walks through our doors.
How do you ensure safety in the classroom?
All volunteers are background checked and trained. Rooms are secured during service, and check-in/check-out procedures are strictly followed. We also have security personnel onsite to provide additional protection.
Can children stay in the main service?
Children are always welcome in the main service. However, if they become disruptive, we ask that parents step out to maintain a peaceful experience for others in the sanctuary.
How can I volunteer with Root 66 Kids?
We’re always looking for passionate, caring adults to join our team! Sign up for Discovery Track and complete the steps in becoming a member of the church. During the last discovery track session, you will be able to sign up for a team you feel called to serve!
